HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
- This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
- Respond to an Emergency Situation
- Perform CPR procedures
- Communicate details of the Incident
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
- This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
- Respond to an Emergency Situation
- Apply appropriate first aid procedures
- Communicate details of the events
- Evaluate the incident and own performance
UETDRRF004 – Perform rescue from a live LV panel
- Including HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Prepare to perform rescue procedures from live LV panel
- Carry out rescue from live LV panel
- Complete the LV panel rescue procedure
