Yes – our Flagship 5-day FIFO Medical Essentials course is now increased to 7 days! (With the weekend off in between days 5 and 6/7) We are proud to now offer RAMNEC – a 2 day combo course of Obstetric and Neonatal ALS Emergency courses (bookable separately as well) – very exciting!
Yes – our courses are the recognised equivalent of other training company’s Emergency Remote and Maternity courses (eg the REC and MEC from our friends at CRANA) They are well accepted and recognised throughout Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific – but we do encourage you to check with your employer / agency etc – show them our flyers / content / website. We are happy to have a conversion with them to clarify – we are here to provide you with more options when choosing your educational opportunities for your Rural and Remote journey!
Yes – our Advanced Life Support courses (Adult, Paediatric, Obstetric and Neonatal) are all 1 day each – we concentrate on team work and dynamic realistic scenarios, based on life outside of major facilities.
Yes – all Advanced Life Support courses are well referenced and follow all appropriate guidelines and procedures (eg ANZCOR).
Yes – Our RACGP and ACRRM accredited Advanced Life Support course is equivalent to the ARC ALS2 Course. They are based on the same guidelines, principles and cover the same topics. If you do our ALS2 course, you will cover everything from the from the ARC ALS2 course. The main difference is that in the ARC ALS2 course there is more focus on Arterial Blood Gases, whereas we focus more on meeting the needs of rural and prehospital practitioners more effectively through our realistic evidence based practical and team based teaching and high fidelity scenarios. Courses are flexible, dynamic, and are adapted and refined to meet your individual needs, based on your presenting clientele, working environment and available resources. We have an ALS1 level exit point if required.

Yes – we offer full flexibility to mix and match our courses – you simply choose the days / courses you require. ‘I just want to do days 2/3 and 5?’ – Of course you can!
Yes – the skills and knowledge you gain from our courses, as well as the accredited certificates – will certainly enhance your CV and make you more competitive in the industries. Of course increase your confidence in dealing with remote emergencies as well!
Yes – we offer flexible payment options – email us if the website payment options don’t suit you.
Yes – we offer discounts – ask your agency / facility if they have a code from us! If not – ask them to make contact with us.
Yes – our courses are only run on the Sunshine Coast at this stage – but we can travel for group bookings. Bespoke courses can be developed to meet Company / Agency / Facility requirements.
Yes – we will release our 2026 dates in the next few months.
Yes – we can outsource other courses for you – eg 4WD, Standard 11, Cert 3 in Emergency and Mines rescue, Construction White Card and other bespoke medical courses.
Yes – we also offer nationally recognised CPR and First Aid courses through our partnership with Allens Training RTO 90909, including more advanced occupational first aid courses. We can also adapt courses for new or prospective parents, school age kids, community groups (eg Op Shops, Men’s Sheds etc!) all of our courses can be run at your venue, and are flexible (eg run over 2 evenings, or over a weekend.
Yes – you will meet lots of like minded health professionals on our courses – networking is a very important part of your experience.
Yes – we are very mindful of Fatigue Management, Wellness, Crisis Resource Management (CRM) Graded Assertiveness, Positive (Closed Loop) Communication ‘Human Error and Patient Safety’ ideals – and incorporate these themes into our content as much as possible.
Yes – our courses are appropriate for Health Professionals – Enrolled and Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives, Doctors, Medics and Registered Paramedics etc.
Yes – all of our facilitators / educators are all very senior in the fields and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to your courses.
Yes – the Triage course is written by the facilitators who have extensive background in the multiple and expansive isolated context i.e remote indigenous communities, small rural towns, mining and industrial environments, international developing country environments. The triage case studies are developed based on actual presentations across the spectrums. It is based on the ETEK V2 guidelines released recently. Yes we can deliver this course via Teams / Zoom etc for small teams.

Yes – we can give you some options on local accommodation on the Sunshine Coast (with Airbnb being the most popular option for self contained apartments close to the venue – followed by the Mercure Kawana Waters)
Yes – (most of) our courses are catered with yummy food, also meet all dietary requirements when requested.
Yes – our main venue at Bokarina has ample parking (and great views over Lake Kawana).
Yes – if the website will take booking and payment – there’s still space on our course/s (we will put up a Sold Out sign when full).
