This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to confirm collection requirements, prepare client and equipment and collect specimens via urine and/or oral and breath testing following the special procedures that apply for drugs of abuse testing.
This unit applies to individuals working in industries collection centres, in hospitals, in other health care environments and workplaces where drugs of abuse testing take place.
Specifically for:
Emergency Support Officers, Emergency Response Team members, Resource Sector site Health staff, Rural and Remote Health Practitioners, Pre-Hospital based Nursing and Medical staff, Registered Paramedics, Defence Force Medical, Nursing and Advanced Medics. Workplace Health and Safety Practitioners, Occupational Health Nurses, GP Practice Nurses

We appreciate your interest in our services at Bledisloe Medical Pty Ltd. To ensure transparency and compliance with Australian Consumer Laws, we have established the following cancellation and refund policy:
Cancellation Policy:
- Clients are entitled to cancel any scheduled services associated with their relevant Services Agreement at any time.
- To cancel any scheduled services without incurring any penalties, clients must provide a minimum of two weeks’ written notice prior to the date of any scheduled services.
Refund Eligibility:
- Clients may be eligible for a refund if they cancel their service booking in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.
- Failure to provide the required two weeks’ written notice may result in the forfeiture of any refund entitlement.
Rescheduling Policy:
- Clients who wish to reschedule their service booking may do so by providing a minimum of two weeks’ written notice prior to the scheduled service date.
- Rescheduling requests made with the required notice will be accommodated without any penalties.
- If a client reschedules their service booking, they will have the option to apply any payments made towards the rescheduled service or receive a full refund associated with the scheduled services, less any applicable surcharges.
Refund Process:
- If a cancellation or rescheduling request is received with at least two weeks’ written notice, clients may be entitled to a full refund (less any surcharges) of any payments made for the scheduled services.
- Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase.
- Refunds will be processed promptly, but please allow up to 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
Non-Refundable Services:
- Certain services may be deemed non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation or rescheduling notice period. These include services that have already been performed or services for which expenses have already been incurred on behalf of the client.

Please note that this cancellation and refund policy is in accordance with Australian Consumer Laws and does not affect your rights under those laws. We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice. This cancellation and refund policy does not override any obligations a client may have under a Service Agreement entered between the client and us.
