Note: Steps/topics in this course are covered in the physical delivery of the course

This is a face to face course that brings together the major qualification and essential skill requirements for Medical Officers, Registered Nurses, Registered Paramedics, Advanced Medics seeking to work, or upskill in either the Resources Sector or the Rural and Remote setting (including Marine)

On successful completion of days 2 & 3 (20 CPD Hours) you will be issued with:

  • Certificate of Attendance – Remote Area Emergency Care and Management of Trauma and Medical Emergencies
  • Certificate of Competency – Basic and Advanced Clinical Skills and Knowledge

We appreciate your interest in our courses at Bledisloe Medical Pty Ltd. To ensure transparency and compliance with Australian Consumer Laws, we have established the following cancellation and refund policy:

Cancellation Policy:

  • Clients are entitled to cancel any scheduled courses associated with their relevant Services Agreement at any time.
  • To cancel any scheduled course without incurring any penalties, clients must provide a minimum of two weeks’ written notice prior to the date of any scheduled course or two-week block of courses (whichever is earlier).

Refund Eligibility:

  • Clients may be eligible for a refund if they cancel their course booking in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.
  • Failure to provide the required notice may result in you being charged a cancellation fee reflecting reasonable costs incurred by us as a result of the cancellation, which may include loss of revenue where the booking cannot be filled. 

Rescheduling Policy:

  • Clients who wish to reschedule their course booking may do so by providing a minimum of two weeks’ written notice prior to the scheduled course or two-week block of courses (whichever is earlier).
  • Rescheduling requests made with the required notice will be accommodated without any penalties.
  • If a client reschedules their course booking, they will have the option to apply any payments made towards the rescheduled course or receive a full refund associated with the scheduled course, less any applicable surcharges.

Refund Process:

  • If a cancellation or rescheduling request is received with at least two weeks’ written notice, clients may be entitled to a full refund (less any surcharges) of any payments made for the scheduled course.
  • Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase.
  • Refunds will be processed promptly, but please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

Non-Refundable Services:

  • Refunds may not be available where a course has already commenced or where we have incurred unavoidable costs in preparation for the course that cannot reasonably be recovered.

Non-refundable Deposits (Bookings made external to website ONLY):

  • If you are not booking through our website (e.g. via phone, email or in person) the following will apply:
    • We may require that you pay a ten percent (10%) non-refundable deposit to secure your course booking.
    • The balance of the course fees will be payable within four (4) weeks prior to the scheduled course date.
    • The deposit represents a genuine pre-estimate of costs incurred in securing the booking and preparing for the course.
    • To the extent permitted by law, the deposit may be retained to cover those costs if you cancel.
    • Our cancellation and refund policy applies to the course fee only and does not apply to the non-refundable deposit.

Please note that this cancellation and refund policy is in accordance with Australian Consumer Laws and does not affect your rights under those laws. We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes to this policy will apply only to future bookings and will be published on our website. This cancellation and refund policy does not override any obligations a client may have under a Service Agreement entered between the client and us.
